Gioconda Parker has taught in both 200 and 300 Hour Teacher Training programs for over a decade.  She brings her extensive knowledge of yogic anatomy to us with a focus on solar and lunar energies, chakras, and yoga practice.



Solar Flow (10:00am-12:00pm) — Jump into a vinyasa class that will focus your energy, channel your will, and challenge your practice. Solar flow is about understanding the nature of fire—it’s energy, qualities and light. Practice will include warrior poses, arm balances and breath work. 2 hours. All levels.

Lunar Flow (4:00pm-6:00pm) — Afternoon session will focus on fluid, intuitive movement. As we learn to go with the flow we begin to understand lunar energy, how it ebbs and flows in cycles and brings us to more awareness in a more gentle, yet every bit as powerful way. 2 hours. All levels.


Chakras: Lecture & Practice (1:00pm-4:00pm) — Come and learn some yogic anatomy! These energy centers create a map to help us learn about the different kinds of power we can access and use in navigating out life’s path. Session begins with a dynamic lecture and dialogue, and then we move to our mats to take it into action. The session will conclude with breath work and guided meditation. 3 hours.

Lunar Arts: Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra (4:30pm-6:00pm) — Conclude the weekend with a deep dive into the more receptive practices of Yin Yoga and a guided Yoga Nidra practice. Yin yoga uses time and gravity to affect changes in the body and mind. Longer holds in poses allow us to soften and open in our bodies, and gives us time to observe our minds and move toward meditation. Yoga Nidra uses yogic technology to access the deepest levels of restoration and relaxation. You’ll leave refreshed and reinvigorated, ready for a new week. 2 hours. All levels.
