What is an assisting workshop? If you have been to a few of our classes you know that we have hands-on assistants that help you grow and deepen your practice. In this workshop, we break down poses and learn how to make them feel great for everybody with an awesome assist.

Artful assisting involves owning the space we are in, being a compassionate host, watching for what is possible in another, and providing empowerment that will create new possibilities for ourselves and others. This two-day workshop involves hands-on experience that will guide you to develop your intuitive, creative, and connected self, in the moment.

You'll practice focusing on being completely connected to the person you are assisting, while maintaining a global awareness for everything happening around you. You will learn how to safely and effectively assist a yoga class. Most importantly, this workshop will empower you to empower others, by reminding them of what they already know—a skill for life.

This workshop is designed for those interested in being more involved in their yoga community or their personal lives. This is for those who want to make a difference in their world, whether you are a parent, a child, a sibling, a yoga teacher, wanting to be a yoga teacher, or body worker of any kind. If you are looking to build confidence, awareness, and a deeper connection to people and the present moment, this training is for you.
